Android-Text am unteren Bildschirmrand abgeschnitten

Question

Ok, nachdem ich eine Lösung ausprobiert hatte, entschied ich mich, meinen Code hier einzutragen, um Hilfe zu erhalten. Ich bekomme HTML von JSON und platziere es in einem TextView, um es zu zeigen.

Das ist es:

hoursTextView.setText(Html.fromHtml(hours));
                                hoursTextView.setVisibility(View.VISIBLE);

Mein Problem ist, dass ich immer dann, wenn der Inhalt über dieser Textansicht sehr hoch ist, nur ausgeschnittene Großbuchstaben dieser Textansicht sehe und nicht nach unten scrollen kann!
